WiiWare Details
November 14th, 2007
From the Wii-k in Review Podcast at IGN.
Seems like WiiWare titles size limit is 40Mb, wich makes us wonder how SquareEnix is making a game like the new Final Fantasy.
Other than that, seems like the budget for most of the games is around $100,000. Now, expect a lot of indie developers getting their hands into the WiWare development kits.

Since the Wii only has 512MB, then how am I going to fit a lot of games on it?
Nintendo sure was retarded to only make it 512MB. It could’ve been at least 5GB.
It’s all about compactness–
Besides, they can squeeze more money out of you for SD Memory cards this way.

The wii is only 512 MB?
Ouch >.<…
Actually you can only use 256mbs of the Wiis Memory (That equels around 2200 blocls)
The other 256mbs of memory is used for the channels that are built in (Disk,Mii,News,Forecast,Shop, and Photo Channels), Wiimails from friends, and firmware updates.
So yea….
