NSiderNews Writer

As a writer for NSiderNews, you will post about the daily news for our front page, which serves as a portal for our active Nintendo NSider2 community. You will rely on our official press and media sources, tips from user submissions, as well as news from various other gaming websites via browsing or RSS feeds.

You will use recent articles and expand upon them, give your editorial view and you will also be involved with posting about various topics, such as industry news, gaming media, rumors, gaming in society and culture and original feature articles and editorials.

Requirements:

• Must demonstrate at least a college-level writing ability.
• Some photo editing skill, GIMP/Fireworks would be ideal, Photoshop a plus.
• Available to post for at least a few hours, 2-5 days a week.
• Wordpress knowledge is needed.

You can register at account at NSiderNews and start submitting your articles, please demonstrate your ability to proofread, and your ability to find a nice balance between writing about the actual topic at hand and throwing in your own commentary. All submitted articles are then entered for review, once you have written 2-3 approved articles, you will be able to post your articles with minimum review.

Your written article should be as thorough as you intend your actual posts to appear on the website, please keep in mine that most articles should include some type of media, such as screenshots, embedded videos or any other type of graphic to catch the reader’s attention.
