Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector Discontinued?

November 15th, 2007

First, an intro. The name is DarkWish and I work for a site called Wii Live, which by the way was the first blog to post about NSider 2. Anyways, I will now be posting news here on NSider News as well. I look forward to my time here. And now for the news…

The official Nintendo Online Store says that the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector is discontinued. Did you know it was supposed to be discontinued? I certainly didn’t. I wonder what Nintendo’s reason for discontinuing it is. I feel bad for all those poor souls out there with no wireless router.

    AKALink Says:

I think the reason it is discontinued is because it doesn’t work on Windows Vista.

fill me in on what Vista is o.o

They’d better be discontinuing it for fine-tuning wi-fi, no discontinued for good. DX

Get a Wireless Router people. It’s faster, more reliable, and the PC doesn’t have to be on so your Wii can go on the net.

The Vista drivers haven’t helped me any. Even with them I haven’t been able to connect at all.

hey guys, i’m new but, all’s I want to know is how much a wireless router costs. Because I don’t have one.

I bought one dec 26th and it took me 3 days to get it running properly and one day after that for the green light to go out and a nice electrical burning odor from the device(junk). Im dealing with Nintendo now because the store (game Crazy) wont take it back once its out of the packing.
