Bundles suck! Atleast Reggie thinks.
December 18th, 2007
“Retailers have already been given feedback that we are not big fans of that. We think it masks some of the price advantage we have versus our competition and, frankly, the consumer should decide what they want. We don’t have to remind retailers of the strength we have right now. We are simply making an observation and that reinforces our point quite nicely with retailers.” - Reggie Fils-Aime

We need a bundle that’s a Wii + Super Mario Galaxy + Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Frankly, current bundles suck. The vast majority of them are retailers looking to unload unwanted merchandise. So they go and say something to the effect of "We have Wii’s in stock and you can get one with x amount of games for only $499!" That x amount of games are most likely games you don’t want but you still buy it because you’re actually able to get a Wii.
Now, in the past bundles were better. They were usually the console packed with one or two games. And guess what! They were games people actually wanted to play. Examples include NES + SMB, SNES + SMW, and even most recently with the GameCube and SSBM.
If they had bundles of that quality again then it wouldn’t be a problem and Nintendo, and others, would probably go with bundles more often.
The wii is already bundle and it is bundle with wii sports.
